Brieanna was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and doctors at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, Florida recommended a life-saving double lung transplant. She was put on a national transplant recipient list and patiently awaited the miracle of two new lungs. SFVIPS held the “Super Bowl Soiree” on Friday, February 1, 2009, in an effort to raise funds for this life saving operation. Sadly, Brieanna passed away on May 28, 2009, at age 14, before she was able to have her surgery. |
